Cooperation

Riksbankens Jubileumsfond (RJ) works together with a number of national and international research financiers, both governmental and private. Many investments have occurred solely as a result of such cooperation. Of particular significance are the networks that RJ has built up with the larger European research foundations.

For a long time, one of RJ’s assignments has been to encourage and finance research related to the Swedish parliament. A specific budget item exists for this purpose. With the aim of initiating new research, cooperation has been initiated during 2008 with the Swedish parliament in the form of a series of seminars. In addition to forming new grounds for research initiatives, these seminars provide members of parliaments and other interested parties a portion of the results from previous research.

The international cooperation can be divided into four groups: networks and conferences, support to graduate schools, cultural commitments and guest professorships, grants and prizes.
