Guest researchers, awards and scholarships

Riksbankens Jubileumsfond’s (RJ) support includes the guest professorship in Dag Hammarskjöld’s honour at the Humboldt University in Berlin.

We also endeavour to strengthen the academic and cultural cooperation between Finland and Sweden by way of supporting SCAS and the Helsinki Collegium for Advanced Studies. In this case, the funds are put towards the payment of Finish guest researchers at SCAS, and Swedish guest researchers at the Helsinki Collegium for Advanced Studies.

Similar commitments have also been made for the German-Swedish cooperation, including the Max Weber Center for Advanced Cultural and Social Studies in Erfurt. We are also in cooperation with the Humboldt Foundation in Bonn for the exchange of Swedish and German researchers.
