Below follows a list of some of the organisations with whom Riksbankens Jubileumsfond (RJ) works with on a cross national border basis:
EFC, European Foundation Center, was established in 1989 and is a Brussels-based membership organisation for European foundations. Its activities also include significant global cooperation. RJ has been a member since its initiation and has played an active role in EFC’s board and other bodies. As a result, RJ has, for many years, been included in important networks, together with leading research foundations. This is reflected in, among other things, post-doctoral programmes and commitments to cultural research institutes etc. EFC has also, together with active support from RJ, been the instigator in contacts between Europe’s research foundations and the EU’s commitments to research, culture and education.
ESOF, Euroscience Open Forum, is a meeting place between research, media and society which has been arranged every other year since 2004. In the summer of 2008, the conference was held in Turin and in 2010 it will take place in Milan. RJ finances ESOF’s secretariat together with the Robert Bosch Stiftung, Stuttgart, Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft, Essen, Compagnia di San Paolo, Turin and Fondazione Cariplo, Milano.
HERA, Humanities in the European Research Area organises, among other things, rewarding working meetings regarding evaluation methods, project management and research infrastructure within the humanities.
NORFACE, New Opportunities for Research Funding Cooperation in Europe
NEF, Network of European Foundations for Innovative Cooperation. On the initiative of this organisation, projects such as the European Citizens’ Council year 2007 have been undertaken.
