RJ’s measures related to the COVID-19 outbreak
RJ has taken several measures in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. Staff at RJ's Secretariat are working from home and can be reached by phone and email.
RJ is doing everything it can to ensure researchers with RJ grants are not impacted negatively by the ongoing pandemic. We are implementing the following measures to achieve this:
- Researchers do not need to repay funds for such things as unattended conferences or unused travel that are not refundable.
- Applicants that need to apply for additional funding to arrange a new conference, for example, in cases when a current conference has been cancelled and for which they have already received funding, can apply for a grant for the new conference when the time comes. Explain in your application why the existing funding was insufficient, for example, that the funds were frozen or costs increased, because of the COVID-19 outbreak.
- Grant recipients that need extensions to the period for which the funding is available can apply for this once it is relevant. Explain in the application why the COVID-19 outbreak has caused the need for an extension.
- Find new dates for Programme, Project och Infrastructure for research as well as some other calls here on our web site.
