Conduct Research at Tokyo College

For a period of 6 or 12 months, researchers in the humanities or social sciences can focus on their work in a multidisciplinary research environment.

Tokyo College offers a unique English-speaking academic setting, meaning no knowledge of Japanese is required. Your research does not need to be related to Japanese studies, any topic within the humanities or social sciences is eligible. As Tokyo College is one of the University of Tokyo’s advanced studies institutes, there are excellent opportunities to connect with leading Japanese scholars.
