SCAS Nordic Fellowship Programme

Riksbankens Jubileumsfond supports contacts within the Nordic research environment by funding a fellowship initiative in collaboration with the Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study (SCAS).

To stimulate internationalisation within the humanities and social sciences, RJ collaborates with research institutes in several countries. Within the framework of the SCAS Nordic Fellowship programme, researchers from Nordic universities are offered a fellowship position for a year at SCAS in Uppsala. Over a three-year period, up to six researchers can be granted funding.

Together with the Nordic Fellowship Program, where Swedish researchers are offered positions at institutes for advanced study in Aarhus, Oslo, and Helsinki, RJ aims to increase opportunities for Nordic research contacts with this initiative. The four Nordic institutes plan joint activities for their Nordic fellows within these parallel initiatives.

The SCAS Nordic Fellowship Programme is aimed at researchers in the humanities and social sciences who are active at an institution in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, and Norway.

SCAS is responsible for the call and processing of applications.
