Other efforts

RJ occasionally undertakes special initiatives in the form of calls for proposals or commissioned projects.

In addition to the priorities listed in RJ’s collaboration strategy—such as collaboration grants, the funding model RJ Flexit, platforms, and the yearbook—RJ also works with partners operating outside the research community.

Some examples of this collaboration include:

The film Guilty not Guilty
This film illustrates how the cultural sector can highlight research, spread knowledge, and reach a wide audience in new and thought-provoking ways. It addresses questions about how our legal system lags behind technological developments, particularly in relation to AI.

Podcast episodes (In Swedish)
In the podcast Allt du velat veta (Everything You Wanted to Know), researchers are interviewed on topics featured in the yearbooks. Visit the respective yearbook and click Listen to access the episodes.

Programmes on UR (In Swedish)
Several researchers have participated in discussions on the city, a theme explored in one of RJ’s yearbooks. Participants included urban historian Håkan Forsell, literary scholar Carina Burman, and sociologist Amir Rostami.

Rifo (The Association of Members of Parliament and Researchers)
Rifo promotes dialogue between members of parliament and researchers. The association raises issues that, due to scientific developments, become significant for the work of the Swedish Parliament.
