The aim of this project is to create a national resource centre of European relevance with a qualified library and information service to support research, and higher education on civil society and its organisations, with a location at Ersta Sköndal University College, Stockholm. The centre will host a basic set of documents - books, reports, scientific journals, and so-called grey material, as well as providing access to relevant databases. A website will be activated with all the relevant links necessary, together with an individualised system of services for the relevant user groups. The library and information centre will be easily accessible both geographically and via the latest possible technology. The location will be in Stockholm on the university college premises, campus Ersta. Accessibility will be secured through generous open hours, study rooms for guest researchers, and an on-line information service for external users.
